Vessel Delays on East Coast of Australia

ACA International has sent a series of news alerts regarding vessel delays into ports along the East Coast of Australia over the past 2 weeks.

Alerts have advised of:

  • MV APL England loss of containers overboard and damaged containers resulting in the vessel diverting to Brisbane for unloading. The vessel is finally at DP World and discharging Brisbane bound containers and unloading Melbourne and Sydney containers for on carriage on MV Conti Courage
  • MV APL Scotland and MV CMA CGM Eiffel terminating their sailings in Hong Kong due to vessel incidents and reloading onboard MV Conti Courage

As a result of significant congestion in the Port of Sydney the following port rotations and delays have been announced

Many of the changes are unscheduled resulting in late update on schedule changes.  We will advise as quickly as possible on changes to ETAs and ETDs and your reporting will identify schedule changes.
