Port Congestion and Bad Weather Causing Vessel Delays

There has been a large volume of vessel delays into Australian ports of discharge as a result of major port congestion in Sydney and weather-related delays along the East coast of Australia. 

We have received several advices from various carriers informing of change to port rotations, berthing delays and phasing out of vessels.  The shipping line notifications are being reported as quickly as possible, however a number of notifications advising of delays beyond 3 to 4 days are coming at very short notice.

Our systems receive updates directly from carrier systems, vessel changes will automatically update our reporting.  Changes to ETA of greater than 3 days from the previous report will be highlighted in red shade and changes to ETA less than 3 days from the previous reports will be highlighted in orange shade.
