Vessels continue to be delayed at both origin and destination ports in Australia due to significant port congestion on the Australian coastline. Further protected action announced earlier this week will continue to result in delays to schedules into Australia and for all Export sailings.
Carriers will continue take corrective action to try to avoid further delays by changing port rotations and omitting ports on export voyages and future import voyages. All carriers and trade lanes are being impacted and consequently all vessels to and from Australia will continue to see small and large delays often at very short notice.
We understand that this is creating major disruptions however it’s an industry wide scenario that we are unable to control. We will continue to update as quickly as possible via our reporting and advices from our sales and customer service teams and our delay notices.
