Following the President's announcement of the "Phase 1 Trade Deal" between the US and China (https://ustr.gov/sites/default/files/US-China-Agreement-Fact-Sheet.pdf) the planned increase of Duties imposed on Chinese manufactured goods into the US has been suspended.
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has announced that the 15% tariffs on List 4B (section-301-list-4b.pdf) has been suspended until further notice and did not go into effect on 15 December 2019.
Also, it has been announced that USTR will issue a notice reducing the rate of additional tariffs on list 4A products (section-301-list-4a.pdf) that were effective 1 September 2019 in the near future. Looks like these duties, which have already been implemented, will soon reduce to half (from 15% to 7.5%).
