Strikes to protest against changes to France’s pension system that began on 5 December continue after 13 days.
While continuing to effect public transport and schools the port of Le Havre and Fos Sur Mer have been closing every two days with some shipping lines omitting these ports from their rotation.
Bad weather, including strong winds, have also played a part in the havoc.

Shipping lines are passing on detention, demurrage and even genset plugged fees.
We will continue to look for alternatives to move your shipments and our Customer Service Team will keep you posted on any specific shipments being delayed.
