Overnight on Tuesday21 January all operations at Lyttleton Container Terminal and Lyttleton Port Company’s (LPC) inland ports will be suspended while their container terminal software N4 is upgraded.
From 2300 hrs on Tuesday 21 January to 0700 hrs on Wednesday 22 January all operations and Lyttleton Container Terminal, CityDepot and MidlandPort will stop while the upgrade of N4 takes place.
As N4 is the central component to all container management, all LPC sites will be closed for container movements during this time.
During the upgrade:
- all container services will be suspended
- no container vessels will be loaded or unloaded
- VBS bookings are unable to be made
CityDepot empty container services will not be impacted. However, no full container movements will be made at city Depot during this time.
All non-container port services will continue to operate as normal open (including logging, coal and other non-container shipping).
