As a result of the ongoing congestion on the West Coast of the USA and in Auckland, New Zealand, severely impacting the schedule of the WSN service Hapag-Lloyd have announced that in order to maintain its fortnightly service into Australia and New Zealand it will omit Auckland for the foreseeable future (West Coast North America - Australia / New Zealand Service (WSN) Schedule Recovery Measures). As per the Hapag-Lloyd announcement, containers booked and in terminal bound for Auckland, will roll to the next available sailing.
Unfortunately, there is no other direct options into New Zealand from the WCUSA and all ports that are serviced via Auckland will also be impacted (e.g. Wellington).
Our Customer service and sales teams will be able to discuss this with you further.
