Dear Customer,

As a result of industrial action within DP World Terminals there are reduced slots available to receive for departing vessels. For example if a receival period for a vessel occurs during the same time there is a ban on unloading trucks it means there are significantly reduced slots to receive for that vessel. Unfortunately, there will be occasions where a late receival request will need to be made to ensure containers can be loaded into to meet the vessel cut off.

Terminal operators apply a Late receiving fee and that is then passed to the shipping lines who on-bill to the Exporter.

The late receiving fee has been in place for some period of time, but it is being triggered more frequently during the current industrial action issues in DP World. The below are the fees from three of the major shipping lines, other carriers will vary slightly, and they will be advised by our export team if they are occur. Unfortunately, when these fees are applied by the terminals we will need to invoice the fees on the effected shipment.

ANL - $425.00 plus GST per container

OOCL - $430.00 plus GST per container

COSCO - $430.00 plus GST per container
